Bashkiria proposes to change requirements for keeping pets
A draft resolution of the Government of Bashkiria on amendments to additional requirements for keeping and walking pets has been submitted for public discussion. Bashinform News Agency has already reported on the document's contents, which were approved in December 2024.
The new version plans to make the previously established quantitative standards for the residence of cats and dogs in an apartment or room recommended based on the animal's size and the home's area. The possibility of walking dogs, even in places permitted, without a leash and muzzle is excluded. Self-walking of pets is possible outside populated areas, subject to control by the owner. In addition, the new version clarifies some wording.
