

For the first time, a forum for hoteliers was held in Ufa, bringing together more than 200 representatives of the hotel business, tour operators, and industry experts. Participants discussed current trends, key issues in the hotel sector, and its development prospects. Experts spoke about modern technologies in the hotel business, personnel management methods, and strategies for attracting tourists.
"For the tourism industry in general and the hotel business in particular, it is essential to ensure the high quality of the services provided," commented Zukhra Gordienko, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
Margarita Agletdinova-Sutyusheva, head of the hotel department of the representative office of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Russia, acquainted those present with the tendencies and trends in the tourism sector, its problems, and its opportunities. Following the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," she noted that the tourism sector's share in the country's gross domestic product should be 5% by 2030. The volume of tourism services exported is planned to triple, and the number of domestic trips should increase to 140 million per year.
