Radiy Khabirov congratulated Ufa airport staff on winning prestigious award

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, congratulated the staff of the Ufa International Airport on winning the prestigious National Award "Air Gates of Russia."

The republic's air harbor was recognized as the best in the nomination "Best Airport with a Passenger Flow of 2 to 6 Million People Per Year." Alexander Andreev, the General Director of the Ufa airport, received the award.

Radiy Khabirov wrote on his social networks, "I congratulate the staff of the Ufa International Airport on the high industry award. "

Radiy Khabirov noted that the Ufa airport has maintained its leading position in Russia for several years.

"Active modernization of the infrastructure continues here. The area of the airport terminal has increased to 55 thousand square meters. The throughput has increased - now it exceeds 2,300 people per hour. The parking lots and entrances to the station square have become wider, and a new hotel will soon appear here. There are other plans, too — to improve the comfort of passengers and airport employees,” said Radiy Khabirov.

In 2024, the Ufa airport served 4.8 million passengers and almost 19 thousand flights to 70 destinations.
