At the airports of Kazan, Nizhnekamsk, Astrakhan, Volgograd, and Saratov, restrictions on aircraft arrival and departure introduced on the morning of February 3 have been lifted. As the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Artem Korenyako, explained, the restrictions were introduced to ensure the safety of civil aircraft flights.
"During the period of temporary restrictions, one aircraft flying to Kazan "departed" to an alternate airfield. Aircraft crews, air traffic controllers, and airport services took all necessary measures to ensure flight safety - this is the main priority," Korenyako noted.
At the moment, restrictions are in effect only at the Ulyanovsk airport.
