17 people have gone missing in Bashkiria since the beginning of the year

Since the beginning of 2025, 17 people have gone missing in Bashkiria. As noted by the press service of the State Emergency Committee of the Republic of Bashkiria, a similar situation was observed in January last year. All of them were safely found.
The department recommended diligently preparing for a trip to the forest.
“You need to tell your friends and family about your route and when you expect to return home. It is advisable to wear bright outerwear so that you are easier to spot. Charge your phone and power bank. If you will spend a long time in the forest, take a knife, flashlight, matches, and a food supply,” the state committee advised. “If you get lost, do not panic under any circumstances. Stop and listen - you may be able to hear the noise of a highway, a railway, or other people. And do not forget about the always available number 112.”
