Monthly payment for mothers-heroines may amount to 72.4 thousand rubles

The Ministry of Labor has developed and submitted a draft federal law for public discussion. The draft introduces a monthly payment of 72.4 thousand rubles for women awarded the title of "Mother Heroine." The same payments have been established for Heroes of Labor. The draft was prepared based on instructions from the Russian president.

As reported by the department, the payment will be indexed annually from February 1. It will be assigned without an application based on the date the title of "Mother Heroine " was assigned. Women awarded the title before the federal law entered into force are proposed to be assigned the payment from January 1, 2025.

At the same time, recipients of the payment, as in the case of the payment to Heroes of Labor, will have the opportunity to replace it with a set of social services, which includes exemption from utility payments, free travel on public and intercity transport, visits to state museums, and some other support measures.
