Donors gave blood 73 thousand times in Bashkiria during year
73 thousand times donors donated blood in Bashkiria. As reported by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Bashkiria, on average, more than 118 thousand transfusions are carried out in the republic, and the demand for donor blood is high. In order to always have enough materials, blood transfusion stations maintain a constant stock of 40 tons.
As reported earlier, donors in Russia are equal to volunteers: they can use such types of support as reimbursement of a number of expenses, incentives, a day off on the day of blood donation.
In Bashkiria, the title of "Honorary Donor of Russia" has about 12 thousand people. Each of them donated blood more than 40 times, plasma - more than 60 times.
