Families with children in Russia will receive additional social support
Holders of the title "Mother Heroine," awarded starting in 2022, will receive social guarantees like Heroes of Labor. Russian President Vladimir Putin gave this order at a meeting of the State Council on social support for families in the country.
In addition, the amount of maternity benefits for women who study full-time will be increased to the subsistence level.
Also, for children under 12, discounts on air travel of at least 50% of the cost of a ticket on domestic airlines and international flights over the territory of Russia will be provided. For large families, benefits for taxi rides will be introduced.
