Tatyana Aksyutina

Bashkiria hit the top 5 regions of Russia in terms of the number of winners in the first presidential grants competition in 2025. As reported by the press service of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Bashkiria, in terms of the level of activity, our republic became the first region among all subjects of Russia, except Moscow, - 692 projects. At the same time, Bashkortostan took fourth place in the number of competition winners. The ruble will support 46 social projects from Bashkiria. These initiatives will receive support for more than 73.4 million rubles, almost 7.7 million rubles more than the funds allocated within the framework of the first competition in 2024.

It is noted that the Grant Fund of the Head of the Republic of Bashkiria traditionally co-financed the most among the regions, with 107.4 million rubles.

"Such trust in our republic is based on assessing already implemented projects and their social effect. The winning projects aim to solve urgent social problems and develop civil society. They cover such important areas as education, culture, sports, ecology, youth support, patriotic education, and many others," commented Daniyar Abdrakhmanov, Chairman of the Public Chamber of Bashkortostan.

The Presidential Grants Fund will allocate 4.7 billion rubles to implement these projects across the country—the largest amount distributed in one competition in the fund's history.

Thanks to presidential grants this year, the Resource Center for Public Projects of the Public Chamber of Bashkortostan named the three largest projects that will be implemented in the republic.

"Stepping Forward" - a project of the Charitable Educational Foundation "Marhamat" (Mercy) received a grant of about 9 million 458 thousand rubles. "Cloudy Front 2025" - a project of the search movement of Russia in the Republic of Bashkortostan won a grant of about 8 million 870 thousand rubles. “Positive Moms” is a project of the Regional Public Organization “Positive Environment,” which received a grant of almost 5 million rubles,” the public chamber reported.

The next presidential grant competition starts on February 3 this year. Projects can be submitted through the foundation’s website until March 17.
