Veterans to receive payments in honor of 80th Victory anniversary

In honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the decree of the President of Russia assigns payments to veterans and other participants in the events of the war.

80 thousand rubles will be received by participants, disabled people of the Great Patriotic War and their widows, awarded with the badges "Resident of besieged Leningrad", "Resident of besieged Sevastopol", "Resident of besieged Stalingrad", former underage prisoners of concentration camps.

A payment of 55 thousand rubles is due to home front workers, former adult prisoners of fascism.

Veterans living in Transnistria, South Ossetia, Abkhazia and the Baltics will also receive a festive payment.

As explained by the Social Fund of the Russian Federation, some veterans will receive the anniversary payment in addition to the holiday payment of 10 thousand rubles, which they receive annually.

Veterans or their relatives do not need to apply to receive funds; everything will be assigned automatically based on the available data. The funds will be transferred before the Victory Day celebration.
