Bashkiria received 267 million rubles for grants for tourism business
Bashkiria received 267 million rubles from the federal budget for grant support for tourism entrepreneurs. With the addition of republican funds, the total amount for 2025 was 272.8 million rubles. The Ministry of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Bashkiria reported that the same funding is planned for the next two years.
From 2025, the republic will implement the regional project "Creation of hotel rooms, infrastructure and new points of attraction" within the national "Tourism and Hospitality." Federal funds will be allocated for state support of public initiatives to develop tourism infrastructure, hold events, and equip municipal tourist centers.
The department recalled that small and medium-sized businesses could use grant support if private investment is attracted.
The tourist flow in Bashkiria from January to September 2024 amounted to 1.7 million people, having decreased by 10.5% from the first nine months of 2023. This was mainly due to reduced trips to national parks due to heavy summer rains.
