Housing rent has increased by 22% last year in Ufa

Housing rent has increased significantly in 2024. Now, you can’t rent an average one-room apartment for 13-16 thousand rubles, as in 2023, in any city with a population of more than 300 thousand people, experts from the resource “Mir Kvartir” summarize.

In Ufa, the rent of one-room apartments has increased by 23% over the past year to 24.2 thousand rubles per month.

Two-room apartments — by 20% to almost 31 thousand rubles per month.

Three-room apartments — by 23% to almost 42 thousand rubles per month.

“Last year, the general high inflation was compounded by the cancellation of preferential mortgages on the primary market and a high key rate, which entailed prohibitive interest rates on housing loans. These factors force potential apartment buyers to reconsider their plans and start or continue renting housing. In turn, some sellers have removed properties from sale and redirected them to rent,” said Mir Kvartir. The platform’s specialists predict continued active growth in rental rates for the current year.
