In Bashkiria, over 27 thousand tons of garbage were removed during New Year holidays

Over 27.7 thousand tons of municipal solid waste were removed in Bashkiria during the New Year holidays, and 342 units of equipment were involved in the work, the Minister of Nature Management and Ecology of the Republic Niyaz Fazylov reported at an operational meeting of the government in the Central Control Center.
According to him, all regional operators worked according to a pre-agreed schedule, deviating from it only when there were obstacles to the passage of garbage trucks. From December 29, 2024, to January 8, 2025, over 7 thousand obstacles were recorded. Later, all the waste was removed.
“Information about obstacles was promptly sent to the administrations of municipalities, after which the schedule was synchronized with the schedule for eliminating these obstacles. During the New Year holidays, 272 requests were received on the hotline of regional operators, each of which was processed,” the head of the department said.
