Maternity benefits have increased in 2025, the Social Insurance Fund of Russia reports.
This year, payments to expectant mothers are calculated based on the average earnings for the two years preceding the year in which maternity leave begins.
Since in 2025, the minimum wage in Russia is 22,440 rubles per month, the benefits this year will be in the amount of:
For 140 days, the minimum is 103,285 rubles, and the maximum is 794,355 rubles.
For 156 days, the minimum is 115,089 rubles, and the maximum is 885,139 rubles.
For 194 days, the minimum is 143,123 rubles, and the maximum is 1,100,750 rubles.
The exact amount of the payment depends on the woman's salary, the Social Insurance Fund clarified.
