Tourist tax introduced at popular ski resort in Bashkiria
A tourist tax will be introduced at the popular ski resort of Abzakovo from January 2025. The Council of the Abzakovo village council of the Beloretsky district made this decision. The rate in the first year will be 1% of the accommodation cost in hotels, but not less than 100 rubles per day. By 2029, it will gradually increase to 5%. The tax will be levied on hotels included in the specialized register of qualified accommodation facilities. The funds received by the budget from the introduction of the tourist tax should be used to develop tourism.
Let us remind you that starting the new year, municipalities can introduce a tourist tax at their level. Such a decision has already been made in Kumertau, Sterlitamak, Uchaly, Birsk, Beloretsk, Belebey and Oktyabrsky.
