Ufa to become children's tourism capital in 2025
According to Ratmir Mavliev, the city's mayor, Ufa won the competition to be the capital of children's tourism in 2025.
"The competition has been held since 2020 to promote the development of children's and family tourism in Russian cities. Every year, a city is selected on the platform on which Russian regions and tourism businesses will be able to present the best tourist routes, investment projects, and practices for developing children's tourism. Previously, Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow became capitals," the mayor said on his social media.
The head of the Bashkir capital also thanked the competition organizers for their trust and promised to do everything possible to justify it.
