The Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, reported on his social media that Bashkiria ranks second in Russia in the number of fast charging stations for electric vehicles, behind only the Moscow Region.
According to Radiy Khabirov, in 2024, the republic's fleet was replenished with 70 stations, more than half of which were installed in Ufa.
"There are 600 electric vehicles in Bashkortostan today. This is not so many for our republic, but it is already twice as many as a year ago. Interest in this type of transport is growing. Therefore, we must create a modern electric charging infrastructure for such vehicles. The state offers good support measures to investors who want to work in this direction. Under the "Energy Development" program, they are reimbursed up to 60% of the costs of purchasing electric charging stations and technological connection to power grids," the head of the region wrote.
The head of Bashkiria emphasized that 50 of the 70 stations were produced in the republic.
"They are made at the Ufa enterprise "Connecting Electrical Technologies." It is one of 8 enterprises in the register of domestic equipment manufacturers of Russia's Ministry of Industry and Trade. We also support this company. In particular, it received a loan from the Industrial Development Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan," he noted.
