New Year's festivities will continue in Ufa until January 15

In Ufa, New Year's festivities will continue until January 15. More than 300 events are planned, and the deputy head of the city administration, Gullaria Yalchikaeva, reported at an operational meeting in the mayor's office.

According to her, Ufa's cultural institutions have prepared a rich program of New Year's events that will put children and adults in a festive mood. Spectators can expect theater premieres, musicals, musical evenings, and quests.

The most long-awaited event is the opening of Ufa Father Frost's residence, which will take place on December 26 in the park in front of the Azimut Hotel. The holiday's culmination will be lighting the lights on the central city Christmas tree. The residence will be open until January 12, 2025.

On New Year's Eve, a bright concert program will be prepared for residents and guests of Ufa, which will take place on the square opposite the Russian Drama Theater on December 31. The Terra Zima festival will be held on the same day on Sovetskaya Square.

For theater and music lovers, December and January will bring many bright productions from the city's state and municipal cultural institutions.

The head of the city noted that visiting Father Frost's New Year's residence in Ufa will be free.

"I believe this is a perfect and important social project, which we have been implementing qualitatively for the third year. Every year, we need the infrastructure at the residence to become more interesting: skis, huskies, and reindeer. The residence should have a New Year's atmosphere so everyone can take a photo with their family," said Ratmir Mavliev.
