Bashkortostan government will discuss security issues during New Year holidays

The head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, announced that the final operational meeting of the Bashkortostan government this year will be held on December 28. He noted that security issues and the organization of leisure for region residents must be discussed before the January holidays. In particular, the speakers will discuss how public safety work will be organized and what sports and cultural events are planned in the republic.

"People will go on vacation, and you and I need to work and ensure they spend their long weekend in peace," said Radiy Khabirov.

Radiy Khabirov also reminded about the restrictions on alcohol sales during the New Year holidays. Let us remind you that a partial ban on the sale of alcohol in stores is being introduced: from January 3 to 6, alcohol can only be purchased from 10 am to 5 pm Ufa time. Alcoholic drinks will be available for order in bars and restaurants without changes.

"People have probably gotten used to it by now. We are creating reasonable restrictions so that people can spend time with their children and attend social and cultural events,” the Head of Bashkiria noted.
