Bashkortostan Ministry of Health has implemented new project in Ufa

Last week, a new medical facility opened on Ispytateley Street in Ufa's Kuznetsovsky Zaton district as part of the "Doctor in the House" project. The republic's Minister of Health, Airat Rakhmatullin, announced this today at an operational government meeting.

Ayrat Rakhmatullin reported that healthcare institutions in Bashkortostan's capital are being modernized. He added that after the New Year's holidays, the republic's Ministry of Health project will be implemented in Ufa in one of the houses on Kuvykina Street.

"We are bringing medical care closer to large apartment buildings. There are ultrasound rooms, ECG rooms, specialized doctors, and everything else to help adult and young patients undergo medical examinations. People are happy," Airat Rakhmatullin noted.

The pilot project "Doctor in the House" was launched in Ufa in March of this year. The innovation aims to increase the efficiency of district pediatricians and therapists by reducing the need for travel.

"We are starting the Doctor in the House project in the Kuznetsovsky Zaton district, where we will open an independent medical station. If, in practice, this significantly relieves the clinic and reduces queues, then we will replicate this experience throughout the city. The office will have an ECG machine and the ability to take blood," Airat Rakhmatullin said in the spring.
