For the first time in many years, Russia is seeing an influx of specialists in the healthcare sector. Vladimir Putin stated this in response to a question from a resident of the Nizhny Novgorod Region about the impossibility of registering her elderly father with a cardiologist.
The Russian President acknowledged that the main personnel problem is in the primary healthcare sector. Putin called on local authorities to distribute the workload among doctors so that there would be no shortage of personnel.
“The Ministry of Health is trying to resolve the issue with personnel, and this process is underway. We have started paying doctors and nurses extra, and for the first time in many years, we are seeing an influx of 17.5 thousand specialists into the healthcare sector. But I cannot but agree. Of course, we need to strengthen the primary healthcare sector and do it at a much greater and better pace than it has been so far,” the President said and promised to help the woman register her father with a cardiologist.
From 2021 to 2023, 17 healthcare facilities were built and commissioned throughout Bashkiria. This year, a polyclinic in the village of Kushnarenkovo is being completed.

Since 2023, a program to modernize Ufa polyclinics has been implemented. Eight billion rubles have been allocated for repairs.
Under the national project "Healthcare," 433 modular Rural health stations have been installed since 2019. The plans include 135 structures by the end of 2024 and another 134 by 2025.
At the same time, the Digital FAP project is being implemented. It is recognized as one of the best in the country. Today, the Internet is available in 97.3% of medical centers - this allows for telemedicine consultations, remote transmission of ECGs, issuing electronic sick leaves, and writing electronic prescriptions.
