In Russia, maternity capital program has been extended until 2030
In Russia, the maternity capital program will be extended until 2030 at the president's initiative. The government will consider the necessary amendments to the legislation. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said the measure will support almost 5 million more families.
The amount of maternity capital will continue to be indexed. Starting in February, it will amount to more than 676 thousand rubles for the first child. For the second child and subsequent children, it will exceed 893 thousand rubles.
"We will continue to assist citizens who are raising children. This is also the goal of the new national project "Family," which is being prepared for launch on January 1, 2025, on the head of state's instructions," Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin emphasized.
