World Kurultai of Bashkirs results summed up in Ufa

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, summed up the results of the 6th World Kurultai of Bashkirs at the operational meeting of the republic's government. As the Head of the region said, important issues for the Bashkir nation were discussed at the kurultai.

“There was quite a large representation. 527 delegates from regions of Russia and 15 foreign countries participated. In my opinion, we discussed the nation's further development in great detail and made several decisions,” Radiy Khabirov noted.

The 6th World Kurultai of Bashkirs was held in Ufa from December 12 to 14. More than 500 delegates from different regions of Russia and countries worldwide attended the historical forum. Among them were 318 delegates from Bashkiria, 171 from regions of the Russian Federation, and 38 from more than 10 foreign countries. Representatives of other nations were also among the delegates.
