In Bashkiria, 5,379 young people, 424 students of professional educational organizations, completed five-day training camps in the Patriot military-patriotic park named after Hero of Russia Maxim Serafimov in 2024. The primary division of the Patriot Park is the Avangard Educational and Methodological Center for Military-Patriotic Education of Youth. Since its opening, 12,931 young people from Bashkiria have completed training camps there, more than 1,000 of whom are college students. The Minister of Education of the Republic, Ildar Mavletberdin, reported on this and other achievements of the Patriot Park at an operational government meeting today. Patriot Park has been open in Bashkiria since 2022. During this time, it has become one of the significant places for patriotic education of the younger generation. The Patriot Park includes the Avangard training and methodological center, a museum and exhibition complex, a partisan village, a military tactical games center, and an army field camp.
Two residential modules with a capacity of 49 people were put into operation this year. Two more such modules were built in 2023. Currently, Avangard's total capacity is up to 400 people per shift.
In 2024, a physical education and health complex with a hall for basketball, football, volleyball, wrestling, and a gym was opened for the young students of Patriot.
It is worth noting that the physical education and health complex is visited by participants in training camps, specialized shifts, and residents of the Chishminsky District.
"Patriot Park is not only a place for holding five-day training camps. Today, it is a point of attraction and development for everyone. This year, for the first time, the Patriot Park hosted the Republican Youth Patriotic Forum "Men's Talk," regional qualifying rounds of the Young Army game "Victory," the Young Army military-patriotic training camp "Guardsman," and the military-sports game "Zarnitsa 2.0". The Patriot Park annually hosts the Republican physical culture and mass competition in obstacle racing, the "Race of Heroes," for the pupils of the Young Army detachments and among the pupils of the military-patriotic clubs of the Republic of Bashkortostan. In the summer, specialized shifts were held at the Avangard Training and Management Center: “Commonwealth of Russian Eaglets,” the EMERCOM shift “Safety School,” a shift for students of the “Shaimuratov classes,” for participants of military-patriotic clubs of the Republic of Bashkortostan, dedicated to the airborne troops. In addition to training camps and specialized shifts, events are held by other departments at the Patriot Park. The number of participants was more than 7,500 people. I want to note that the Patriot Park has become a venue for events for children and young people with disabilities and the disabled,” said Ildar Mavletberdin. He also noted that teenagers registered in various types of registration are not ignored. For them, the "Power of the Republic" shift was organized for the first time in March, in November - a specialized military-patriotic shift "Young Special Forces Soldier," in the summer - specialized days for pupils of special educational and training institutions. 500 young men attended them.
"Meetings are held between children and veterans of military operations, participants of the SMO, and representatives of public organizations. The Patriot Park is also a methodological center for patriotic education for teachers of the republic. The Avangard UMC has become a platform for conducting a practical module for training teachers in "Fundamentals of Security and Defense of the Homeland." Currently, work is underway to form a work plan for 2025. Thus, the Patriot Park has become a real center for patriotic education of the Republic of Bashkortostan children and youth," added Ildar Mavletberdin.
