Honorary donors of Russia awarded in Ufa
National Youth Theater held an award ceremony for honorary Russian donors. Today, over 13,000 residents of the republic have this title.
The chief physician of the Republican Blood Transfusion Station, Ramil Khamitov, expressed gratitude to all donors and emphasized the importance of the donor movement. He addressed the young people in the hall and spoke about the high value of blood, its components, and bone marrow in medicine.
Also, as part of the event dedicated to the Week of the Fight against AIDS, the play "White Angel with Black Wings" was shown to donors and all celebration participants.
The "Honorary Donor of Russia" badge is awarded to citizens who have donated whole blood 40 or more times and plasma - 60 or more times.
