Bashkiria Firefighters to Get Tax Breaks
Bashkiria firefighters will be able to avoid paying transport tax on particular vehicles. The republic's State Assembly deputies plan to vote on the corresponding bill at the end of November.
The support measure will be extended to municipal fire brigades and volunteer firefighter associations. It will be in effect from 2025 to 2027.
"After three years, we will evaluate the effectiveness of the benefit and decide whether to extend it. Transport tax is a regional tax, and the republic can independently decide to exempt individual taxpayers from paying it. In this case, we are acting to improve the fire safety of the population and territories of the republic," commented the chairman of the regional parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev.
