In Bashkiria, flu vaccination continues. To create public immunity in the republic, 2.4 million people will be vaccinated. To date, 1 million 911 thousand residents of the region have been vaccinated, almost 80%.

Rospotrebnadzor specialists answered the most common questions that residents of Bashkiria have before vaccination.

- Should I take an antihistamine before or after vaccination to reduce the reaction to the vaccine?

- A healthy person does not need additional medications during the vaccination period.

- Can a person suffering from allergies get a flu shot?

- The answer depends on what precisely the person is allergic to. Only the attending physician can answer this question accurately.

- Do I need to take any tests or undergo examinations before vaccination?

- No, no special tests are required before the flu shot. The current condition will be assessed by the doctor immediately before the vaccination.

- Is it possible to get a flu shot if a person has signs of a cold?

- It is not recommended to get vaccinated against acute respiratory viral infections. The vaccination will need to be done after recovery.
