Main New Year's tree in Bashkiria will be held on December 25

On December 25, the republican New Year's tree for schoolchildren will be held in Ufa. Its guests will be excellent students, winners of Olympiads and sports competitions, children from the families of military personnel and employees of the internal affairs agencies who died in the line of duty, children from large low-income families, and children with disabilities. In total, a thousand children will visit the tree. The New Year's performance will be organized in the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" in two streams. The Minister of Education and Science of Bashkiria, Albert Yarimov, announced this at an operational government meeting.

In addition, traditional New Year's matinees will be held in kindergartens and schools, and New Year's family games will be organized in municipalities during the winter holidays. As noted by the Minister of Culture of Bashkiria Amina Shafikova, municipalities are developing a cultural events program for children. From December 20, 2024, to January 10, 2025, the cultural institutions of Bashkiria plan to hold 28 thousand events for 1.93 million people.
