In Bashkiria, ticks have bitten more than 10 thousand people
Since the beginning of the warm season of the current year (the first appeal was recorded on April 4) and until mid-October, laboratories have examined more than 10.25 thousand ticks removed from residents of Bashkiria. According to the Rospotrebnadzor of the Republic of Bashkiria, people often named forests and other natural areas where they "acquired" the tick. Garden and summer cottages are second, and cemeteries and populated areas are third.
20 cases of tick-borne viral encephalitis and 24 cases of ixodid tick-borne borreliosis have been registered.
According to the results 2023, 16 cases of encephalitis and 26 cases of borreliosis were recorded in Bashkiria.
In 2022 - 28 cases of encephalitis, in 2021 - 16.
Acaricidal treatments of public recreation areas, parks, squares, and children's camps were carried out this year on an area of almost 4778 hectares.
Thirty-six thousand four hundred four people received vaccinations against encephalitis in 2024.
As reported by Bashinform, treatment against rodents should be completed in the republic by November 18.
