A children's recreation and education center of the same name will be created in Ufa based on the Luch camp. This became known at the "Education Hour" meeting in the mayor's office of the capital of Bashkortostan.
The institution's design capacity is planned to increase from 140 to 460 children during the summer shift and from 50 to 200 during the autumn, winter, and spring holidays. The camp's area should be expanded by 1.3 hectares.
"Of all the options I looked at, I like this one the most. Excellent location: normal distance from the city, there is an opportunity to expand. Let's start developing a concept. We need to make sure that this camp becomes a flagship," said the head of the Ufa administration, Ratmir Mavliev.
After the renovation, there will be more playgrounds for football, volleyball, and basketball, as well as for orienteering and skiing.
A road to the children's health camp, "Chaika," was built in Ufa.
