An agricultural enterprise in the Abzelilovsky District exported more than 4.8 thousand tons of food barley to China, the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration in Bashkiria reported.
By the requirements of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China, all 186 railway cars with barley grain underwent inspection and clearance. The samples were examined in the Bashkir Testing Laboratory, which is subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor.
"According to the results of entomological, neurological, and helminthological examinations, no quarantine harmful organisms or pests of grain reserves were detected in food barley. Bashkir products fully comply with the requirements of the importing country," the supervisory agency noted.
As Bashinform reported, in the first 8 months of 2024, Bashkiria's foreign trade turnover increased by 9 percent compared to the same period in 2023. The volume of exports increased by 7.7 percent during this time.
