Residents of Bashkiria have begun a six-day workweek. Monday, November 4, is National Unity Day, and Saturday, November 2, will be a work week for those who work five days a week.
To rationally use weekends and non-working holidays, the day off from Saturday, November 2, was moved to Tuesday, April 30. Thus, on the "May" holidays, residents of Bashkiria received uninterrupted days off from April 28 to May 1.
The work day on November 2 is shortened by one hour. Those going to work on the non-working holiday of November 4 must be paid at least double the rate. According to labor legislation, those whose vacation "covers" National Unity Day will have their vacation extended by one day.
