Bashkiria has prepared for the winter tourist season. During winter, 14 ski resorts with 60 slopes of varying difficulty and length will operate in the republic. Acting Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of Bashkiria Zukhra Gordiyenko announced this at an operational government meeting in the Central Rural Management Center.
Almost all ski resorts have undergone maintenance, and cable cars and lifts are ready for operation. Three ski resorts—"U Scarlet Rose" in the Ilishevsky District, "Krasny Klyuch" in the Nurimanov District, and Rodeo Park in the Uchalinsky District—will launch new slopes for the season.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that 900 thousand people visited Bashkiria during the summer tourist season. This year, the volume of paid services in the tourism sector reached 13.7 billion rubles, and from May to August, it amounted to 8.7 billion rubles.
