Horses were attempted to be illegally transported through Bashkiria
The illegal transportation of horses through the republic's territory was stopped in Bashkiria. On October 23, at 1376 km of the M-5 "Ural" highway, a Scania truck stopped by a joint post of the traffic police and Rosselkhoznadzor. It had 39 horses in it. According to the driver, he was transporting them from Altai to Chuvashia without accompanying veterinary documents.
Under the supervision of specialists from Rosselkhoznadzor and the veterinary service of Bashkiria, the animals were isolated for quarantine measures and identification at a temporary holding site.
The carrier and the owner of the animals were warned about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
