Shakshinsky Bridge closed for month in Ufa

Traffic on the Shakshinsky Bridge in Ufa was completely closed from 20:00 on October 23. City services installed barriers and corresponding signs. The restriction will be lifted on November 24 at 00:00, the press service of the Ufa administration reports.

Recall that major repairs are being carried out here as part of the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads." The roadway must be completely closed to eliminate vibrations of the bridge structures during their implementation.

During the closure, residents are advised to use electric trains—their number and composition have been increased, and bus routes have been changed. A ferry also operates on the Knyazevo River crossing. You can get there by car along an alternative bypass road—the federal highway M-5, which has an entrance through the Vostochny exit (toll), Nagaevskoye Highway, and Orenburgsky Tract.

Significant repairs to the Shakshinsky Bridge, built in 1984, began in 2023. The overpass provides vehicle access from the northern part of Ufa to the federal highway M-5 "Ural" and is a vital transport artery of the republic's capital. It is planned that after the repair, its service life will be up to 50 years.
