The cold water supply was disconnected in the village of Subkhankulovo in the Tuymazinsky district. As the task force of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Bashkortostan found out, the disconnection occurred due to a malfunction of the transformer station, which feeds the second-lift pumps that pump water into storage tanks.
“A meeting of the Emergency Situations Commission and the Fire Safety Committee was held in the district. The delivery of a new transformer was organized. Work is currently underway to dismantle the old transformer. After installing and testing the new one, the system's launch is planned. Five thousand four hundred ninety-three residents live in the village, including 1,030 children. In educational institutions, the educational process is in a reduced format, medical institutions have been notified, temporary reserves have been created, and water has also been delivered,” the department reported.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan controls the situation.
