Draft order on minimum scores for Unified State Exam has been published
A draft order has been published on the Regulatory Legal Acts portal by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, setting the minimum scores for the Unified State Exam (USE) for the 2025/2026 academic year.
According to the draft, 42 points are proposed as the minimum score for passing the exam in Russian: 39 points in mathematics, 39 points in physics, 42 points in social studies, 35 points in history, 44 points in computer science, 30 points in a foreign language, 40 points in literature, 39 points in biology, 40 points in geography, and 39 points in chemistry.
The ministry proposes to increase the passing score for the Unified State Exam in Russian by two points in the 2025/2026 academic year compared to the previous 2024/2025 academic year: previously, it was 40 points. It is also proposed that the minimum score for the Unified State Exam in social studies be lowered from 45 points to 42 points.
