Moon will pass close to Mars in sky over Bashkiria
According to the press service of the Ufa City Planetarium, the Moon will pass close to Mars on the night of October 23-24. As a bright yellow star, Mars will be visible at night slightly below and to the left of the waning Moon.
“Both luminaries will be in the constellation Gemini, and a pair of bright Gemini stars will be located above the Moon. Mars and the Moon will rise at half past ten in the evening in the northeast, and in the morning, they will rise high into the sky in the south. The planetarium reported that they will be visible side by side until dawn, until Mars disappears in the light of the rising Sun, and the Moon will be visible in the daytime sky and set at 15.45 Ufa time in the northwest,” the planetarium reported.
