New type of forest use has appeared in Bashkiria
The Decree of the Head of Bashkiria introduced amendments to the Forest Plan of the Republic of Bashkiria. According to the document, a new type of forest use is being introduced in the republic to implement survey activities.
For this purpose, state or municipal ownership areas are leased, or a public easement can be established. If the survey work does not entail logging, it is allowed to provide them without the above conditions, based on the permission of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Bashkiria.
Previously, the possibility of conducting forest survey activities was legislatively enshrined at the federal level by Article 43.1 of the Forest Code of the Russian Federation and the order of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia dated April 25, 2024.
