In Bashkiria, a bridge washed away by a flood is being repaired
In the Karmaskalinsky district, repair work continues on a bridge across the Asyazy River near the village of Lyakhovo. In the spring, a flood washed away the connection between the road and the bridge. The daily traffic on this bridge was 273 cars.
Road workers are restoring the destroyed approach - replacing the crossing slabs and strengthening the cones. Then, they will have to lay the road surface. According to the head of the Road Management Department of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Artem Shamkhalov, traffic on the bridge is planned to open in the first days of November. Local residents will again be able to drive on a straight road without detours.
