In Bashkortostan, processing enterprises were allocated 100 million rubles in subsidies

In Bashkortostan, 46 enterprises in the food and processing industry were partially reimbursed for purchasing equipment. The total state support in 2024 amounted to 100 million rubles, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.

The funds were allocated within the framework of the republican program for the development of the food industry and processing, a clear demonstration of the government's commitment to the sector, which has been in effect since 2022.

During the program to support the food and processing industry of the Republic of Bashkortostan, more than 100 industries have updated and modernized their processing facilities. In total, more than 600 units of machinery and equipment were purchased for almost 700 million rubles.

– Food production has grown by 29% in the republic over five years. During this period, meat production has more than tripled. Semi-finished meat products have increased by 2.5 times, and cereals by 2.3 times. The production of vegetable oils, sugar, and cheeses has increased. Current government support measures facilitated the growth in food production volumes, commented Acting Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov. As reported by Bashinform, in 2023, the circle of recipients of government support was expanded to include new areas, and administrative barriers were reduced.
