Bashkiria will produce 300 thousand tons of white sugar
Half of the sugar beet area has been harvested in Bashkiria. The acting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, announced this at an operational meeting of the Bashkiria government in the Central Control Center.
The average yield of sugar beet is 460 c/ha. Sugar factories in Chishmy and Raevsky are operating at total capacity. The enterprises are expected to operate until April 1, 2025. In the current season, about 300 thousand tons of white sugar are planned to be obtained.
Earlier, Bashinform reported that the republic would produce an amount of sugar that was 7 times greater than its needs.
