Acute respiratory viral infection incidence has been growing in Bashkiria
Since September, the republic has registered an increase in the incidence of acute respiratory infections. According to Rospotrebnadzor, over the past week, more than 27 thousand republican residents fell ill.
Laboratory tests show that the circulation of non-influenza viruses, such as rhinovirus and COVID-19, causes the incidence. Airborne droplets generally spread such infections.
The epidemiological situation is typical for this period. According to long-term observations, the incidence of children increases with the beginning of the school year. This is due to the formation of organized groups in schools and kindergartens.
During the increased incidence, preventive measures will help you protect yourself: first of all, vaccination against influenza is essential now, before the start of the epidemic season.
