Ufa to host excursion marathon

On September 28, the city excursion marathon "Ufa Mosaic—Collect All the Puzzles!" will be held, dedicated to the city's 450th anniversary.

As part of the marathon, free mini-excursions will be organized in the central part of the city, allowing Ufa residents and guests to get acquainted with the history and culture of the capital of Bashkortostan. Each excursion will be led by an experienced guide sharing interesting facts about each object. In particular, this is the monument to Salavat Yulaev, the Congress Hall "Toratau," the Bashkir State Academic Drama Theater named after Mazhit Gafuri, the Dynamo stadium, the Lenin Park, the alley of modern urban sculpture "Art Terria," the monument to Major General Minigali Shaimuratov, the fountain "Seven Girls," the Bashkir State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, the House of the Noble Assembly, Gostiny Dvor.

Marathon participants can freely move from one object to another as it is more convenient—by public transport, personal vehicle, or on foot. The route can be started from the first point, chosen from several of the most interesting ones, or joined at any designated location.

The duration of each mini-excursion is 20 minutes.
