On October 24-25, the Eurasian REC forum will be held in Ufa, which will bring together representatives of the scientific community, the education sector, government bodies of Russia, and foreign partner countries. As the Chief of Staff of the Head of Bashkortostan, Maxim Zabelin wrote on social media that Ufa would become the center of scientific and technological development in Eurasia. Guests from Belarus, China, and Uzbekistan will come to the capital of Bashkortostan.
Thematic discussions and round tables dedicated to the development of mechanical engineering, innovations in the oil and gas chemical industry, and strengthening the integration of our scientists' developments into the real sector of the economy will be held at the sites of the Interuniversity Student Campus and the House of the Eurasian REC. Forum participants will be able to attend lectures by leading federal experts. As part of the plenary session "Science and Industry: Strategy 2025-2030", the results of the activities of the Eurasian REC over five years will be summed up, and the further strategy of its work will be discussed. "We tried to make the forum program interesting for experienced mentors and young scientists. Ufa will become a venue for the All-Russian intellectual games "Scientific Duel," a friendly international eSports championship, an exhibition of creative works "Scientific Art," and achievements of scientific and technological development of Bashkortostan. I am sure that the forum will attract even more young talents to science and will become a new stage in the scientific and technological development of the republic," wrote Maxim Zabelin. The republic is starting to implement its scientific and technological development program. Radiy Khabirov set this task to the regional government. In Bashkiria, it is planned to increase the share of domestic expenditures on research and development in the gross regional product to two percent. Now this figure is half a percent. The Republic will launch at least five of its lines to develop high-tech goods and services and develop and transfer 300 new advanced production technologies into priority areas: photonics and microelectronics, unmanned aircraft systems, chemistry, genetics, medicine, and IT technologies.
The Republic will continue to support science: improve the living conditions of young scientists, create mega- and youth laboratories, and attract leading specialists to development. Bashkiria's task is to maintain the leading position of the Eurasian Scientific and Educational Center in the Russian rating.
