Bashkir Cadet Corps recognized as best in Volga Federal District

The Bashkir Cadet Corps has been recognized as the best in the Volga Federal District. This was reported by the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov.

"The guys leave here as real men. Our Bashkir Cadet Corps of the Volga Federal District, named after Hero of Russia Alexander Dostavalov, was again recognized as the best in the Volga Federal District. Our guys were also first in the Volga Federal District for the second time last year. Congratulations to the cadets and their teachers! Keep it up!" he wrote on his social networks.

Radiy Khabirov added that 320 guys from grades 6 to 11 are currently studying at the Cadet Corps in Ishimbay. The corps has strict discipline, a solid educational base, several languages, many clubs and sections, and a special emphasis on sports.

Aleksandr Dostavalov is a native of Ufa, a Russian serviceman, paratrooper, guard major, and Hero of Russia. He participated in peacekeeping operations, including the first and second Chechen counter-terrorist operations. In 2000, as deputy commander of the parachute battalion of the 104th Guards Parachute Regiment of the 76th Guards Airborne Division, the serviceman distinguished himself in battle at a height of 776 near Argun in the Chechen Republic. Aleksandr Dostavalov fell in battle with superior forces of militants, having gone to protect the personnel of the sixth company. The title of Hero of Russia was awarded to him posthumously.
