Organizers talk about Republic Day celebrations

Organizers talk about the celebrations in honor of Republic Day in Bashkortostan. Details of the upcoming festivities were discussed today at a meeting in the city administration.

According to tradition, the main events will occur on October 11 and begin with a ceremonial laying of flowers at the Friendship Monument. The main city event will occur on the square in front of the State Academic Russian Drama Theater. Creative groups from the city and famous artists from the republic will perform for residents.

One of the most striking and mass events will be the final stage of the water sports festival "450 oars", which will take place on October 5. Participants from Bashkortostan and neighboring regions on canoes, kayaks, catamarans, rafts, rafts, and SUPs will cover the distance along the Belaya River from the sports and recreation complex "Yunost" to "Polyana Zdorovya" in the sports school of the Olympic reserve for biathlon of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The mayor's office clarified that law enforcement officers, the Ufa Supervisory and Preventive Work Department, firefighters, and rescuers will be on duty in the city during the holidays.
