New fines to be introduced in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, people will be fined for failure to comply with the decisions of the Head of the Republic. The corresponding amendments to the Code of the Republic of Bashkortostan on Administrative Offenses will be considered by the deputies of the State Assembly in the first reading at the plenary session of parliament on September 18.

The Chairman of the State Assembly of Bashkiria, Konstantin Tolkachev, reported that the bill was developed to implement the decree of the President of the Russian Federation to protect the population and the territory from emergencies and meet the needs of the armed forces.

“A basic readiness regime is in effect on the republic's territory, and public order and life support facilities have been strengthened. The coordinating function is performed by the republican operational headquarters, headed by the Head of Bashkortostan. The decisions of the headquarters leadership are mandatory for execution. The bill introduces sanctions for failure to comply with the relevant decisions. Administrative liability will have a disciplinary effect,” the speaker of the Bashkir parliament noted. According to the draft law, for failure to comply with or violation of the decision of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan (operational headquarters of the Republic of Bashkortostan), citizens will be subject to an administrative fine of 3,000 to 5,000 rubles, officials - from 10,000 to 30,000 rubles, and legal entities - from 100,000 to 500,000 rubles.
