Ufa residents may have their property tax raised. The City Council Presidium discussed this issue at a meeting to balance the city budget.
As explained by the City Council press service, the change in the property tax for individuals will affect real estate owners whose cadastral value exceeds 10 million rubles.
If it is an apartment or part of a house, the rate will change from 0.22% to 0.3%. If it is a separate house or complex, the rate will be 0.3% instead of 0.24%.
The tax rate for real estate whose cadastral value exceeds 300 million rubles increases from 2% to 2.5%.
The City Council noted that, in accordance with the Tax Code, the tax burden will not change immediately but gradually.
