Hours for studying some subjects have increased in Russian schools
Russian schools have seen a record increase in the hours spent studying some subjects.
According to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov, the number of hours spent studying mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry, and biology at an advanced level in the 2024 curriculum has become the largest in the history of school education, starting from 1956. He announced this on September 11 at the All-Russian Parents' Meeting.
The Minister also noted that a law reducing the documentation burden on educational organizations and teachers will come into force on March 1, 2025.
